Heidi & Jess

Heidi

Heidi is the owner of Zen Body & Skin, a boutique day spa in Las Vegas, NV. She has one child, Ru, who is the joy of her life, and a dog named Ringo. (Yes, after Ringo Starr!)   During the pandemic of 2020 she was forced to temporarily close her business. Like many people around the globe it became a time of greater awareness of just how broken the world had become.  Something that weighed heavily on her heart was the realization of how human trafficking was a billion dollar industry. Even worse was that approximately one third of those being trafficked were children. She wanted to combine her love for art and poetry and use it to help children being trafficked, and so Artists Against Monsters was born.

Jess

Jessica is a joyful, spiritual woman, who is surround by a family of artists, four children, and two cats. She enjoys creating everything from poetry, and music, to crafting, and painting. Everybody who knows her understands her kids are her highest priority. During the summer of 2020 a series of vivid and unpleasant dreams regarding child trafficking led her to action. Using art and raising awareness, she hopes to help make the safety and wellness of all children the word’s highest priority. So the dream of Artists Against Monsters began.
